The Baugnez Memorial, located at the crossroads of the hamlet of the same name, commemorates the massacre of 84 American soldiers during the Battle of the Bulge, carried out by a Waffen-SS unit under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Peiper. This tragic event during World War II led to the construction of a monument in memory of the victims, as well as the creation of the Baugnez 1944 Historical Center, a museum dedicated to this episode.
