At the foot of the Lettenberg, part of the Kemmelberg, several concrete bunkers have been uncovered. During the First World War, these structures provided access to the underground shelters built by British troops in the spring of 1917. The bunkers fell into German hands in April 1918. One of them was converted into a medical post, easily recognisable by the painted red cross.
You can explore the bunkers by following a marked trail. One of the structures has been specially adapted to serve as a shelter for bats.
