A gigantic food hall in the heart of Saint-Boniface
Housed in a former 3,000 m² parking garage on Rue Saint-Boniface in Ixelles, Ratz Food Market is designed as a meeting place for Asian and Middle Eastern culinary cultures, bringing together some fifteen street food stalls and specialty restaurants spread over several levels.
The name “Ratz” echoes the symbolism of the rat in certain Asian cultures, where it is considered a sign of luck, wisdom, and ingenuity—a nod to the cosmopolitan and curious spirit of the place.
An experience that goes beyond cuisine
Ratz is not just a destination for foodies: it is a multifaceted living space where you can also watch a movie in an intimate cinema, attend shows or cultural events, browse a vintage market, or simply relax with a drink.
This blend of gastronomy, culture, and entertainment makes Ratz a complete outing: the idea is to be able to eat, laugh, stroll, and be amazed under one roof, in a friendly and cosmopolitan atmosphere.
An inspiring and immersive Brussels destination
The venue’s design, conceived as a sensory journey, immerses visitors in settings inspired by the regions of origin of the cuisines on offer, while creating a warm and surprising space where every corner invites discovery.
Located in the dynamic Saint-Boniface district, known for its varied restaurants and cosmopolitan atmosphere, Ratz is part of the trend of urban markets that promote exchange, diversity, and curiosity.
