The Stadsfeestzaal is a neoclassical building dating from 1908, constructed according to plans by municipal architect Alexis Van Mechelen at the request of the city council. Formerly a ballroom, it is now a shopping center.

History
For a long time, the Stadsfeestzaal was one of Antwerp’s most famous venues, hosting art exhibitions, the Antwerp Antiques Fair, the Book Fair, the Motor Show, and various celebrations. In 1983, the building was listed as a protected monument.
