The belfry of Nieuwpoort is a 35-meter-high belfry adjoining the Grain Exchange (Graanhalle).

History
During World War I, the tower was dynamited and the market hall, along with the entire town, was almost completely destroyed. Between 1921 and 1923, the belfry and market hall were rebuilt based on historical designs.
The market hall now looks the same as the first market hall, which was built in 1280 in the late Gothic style.
