Accessibility & Practical information
Visiting the mine for PRMs is possible by reservation, subject to adaptation of the circuit. Assistance dogs are unfortunately not allowed in the mine, due to its special setting.
The mine can be visited by anyone with a minimum height of 1 meter. Temperature-wise, it’s on average 15 degrees all year round. Protective clothing and a helmet are provided to each visitor, for safety reasons but also to avoid getting dirty.
We do not recommend visiting the mine for claustrophobic people, as the descent takes place in a fairly cramped cage, where visitors are pressed together, in complete darkness.
Not to be missed…
Blegny-Mine has a mine to visit, but also a mining museum, a children’s playground, a mini-golf course and an animal park.
The neighboring terril will offer you a breathtaking view of the entire region.
