The Coo waterfall, located on the Amblève River in the municipality of Stavelot, has a drop of 15 meters. The small waterfall appeared in the 15th century. In the 18th century, the monks of Stavelot Abbey dug the large waterfall by carving a meander in the river to protect the village of Petit-Coo.
