Mons Railway Station

Mons station is an SNCB station that was opened in 1841 by the Belgian State Railways. After several reconstructions, the 1952 building was demolished in 2013 to make way for a new station designed by Santiago Calatrava. This project, initially budgeted at €37 million in 2006, will reach €480 million in 2024. The work, scheduled for completion in February 2024, is expected to open to the public on December 18, 2024, with an inauguration on January 31, 2025.
