Three galleries in one…
The Royal Saint Hubert Galleries are actually a group of three galleries:
- Queen’s Gallery
- King’s Gallery
- Princes’ Gallery
History
The Royal Saint Hubert Galleries were designed by architect Jean-Pierre Cluysenaar and financed by banker Jean André De Mot.
Inaugurated in 1847, these galleries are among the oldest in Europe. In 2008, they were proposed for inclusion on the World Heritage List and appear on UNESCO’s “tentative list” in the cultural heritage category.
