The Théâtre Royal de Toone is Brussels’ last remaining traditional puppet theater still in operation, a timeless place steeped in history, nestled just a stone’s throw from Brussels’ Grand Place. Since 1830, it has been perpetuating a popular art form that combines folklore, local humor, and universal stories, to the delight of young and old alike.
