The Antwerp Port Authority, also known as Havenhuis (the port house), is a former fire station built in 1922. The upper part, which for its architect Zaha Hadid evokes both the bow of a ship (for the port) and a diamond (70 % of the world’s diamonds come from Antwerp), was inaugurated in 2016.
