Description
Discover seven centuries of emotions at Mudia, the Didactic Art Museum of Redu. Here, art is experienced in an interactive and playful way through more than 300 original works and around sixty attractions spread across twenty rooms. Painting, drawing, sculpture, comics, photography and animated film — every medium is highlighted for an immersive experience accessible to all.
Located in the heart of the book village, inside a former presbytery, Mudia offers a refreshing and dynamic vision of art. You’ll be invited to explore more than fifty artistic movements and interact with the works through digital games, quizzes and surprising animations. Strike a pose like a model, experiment with impressionist painting using the point-shooting cannon, and let yourself be captivated by the triptych of Hieronymus Bosch — one of the highlights of the visit. Younger visitors can enjoy a special audio guide designed just for them, allowing them to explore the museum at their own pace.
Mudia Café
After the visit, extend your experience at the Mudia Café, open on weekends, public holidays and during school breaks. Settle in comfortably to enjoy a tasty break while browsing an art book, or make the most of the sunny terrace for a moment of relaxation.
