Description

This 80-meter-long bridge consists of 75 panels woven from birch and hazel branches. The piers rest on the riverbed. This bridge, connecting Vresse and Laforêt, is used and admired by many tourists every summer. It is part of walking trail No. 16, marked by a red rectangle.

This bridge is installed only when weather conditions are favorable and when the water level is at its lowest. It is generally set up in mid-June by staff from the Vresse Office of Tourism and Culture with the help of the municipality.

The bridge is inspected seven days a week, and algae or other objects stuck to the pillars are removed daily.
