Established in 1843, the Antwerp Zoo has gradually expanded its facilities and now covers an area of about 11 hectares. With attractions ranging from the Great Ape Valley to the Buffalo Savannah, as well as the Butterfly Garden and the Reef Aquarium, the zoo is home to over 5,000 animals. Don’t forget to take a break at the Skywalk to enjoy a panoramic view of the historic garden.
